To organise our files on a computer, we can create something called a folder. Folders contain files, and the files in a folder usually have something in common. For example, files in a folder called Holiday Photos will all be photographs taken while on a holiday. A folder is a great way of organising files and making them easier to find and use.

Folders usually have an icon similar to the one below.
